Candace Amberg, Principal

 

Candace Amberg joined Brauer & Associates, Ltd. early in 1996 and has since been directly involved in a variety of projects from the initial client contact phases through to the construction document phases and construction observation.

 

With her educational experience in design and natural resource management, along with field experience in Landscape Architecture and planting design, Candace brings to the firm an environmentally-based design perspective that allows for creative design solutions to emerge within the context of environmental sensitivity. Given the growing importance of natural landscapes in designs, Candace's interest and competency in natural landscape design has proven to increasingly valuable to the firm. In this regard, she is able to utilize the natural landscape in a manner that is aesthetically appealing while remaining ecologically-sound.

 

Candace is sensitive to the design needs of the client, as well as the end users, and strives to provide design solutions that benefit all involved. Candace has been involved in numerous projects and is skilled at client/public relations and communications. She is responsible for preparation of graphics and presentation materials for articulating design ideas and is able to present design objectives in a manner that is clear, concise and easy to follow.

 

Candace is also cognizant of the current standards that apply to park design and strives to find design solutions that take into consideration and are appropriate for the varying ages, needs, and abilities of users and is aware of current ADA standards and safety issues as they relate to the project at hand.
